November 11, 2025
In observance of Remembrance Day, the St. Thomas-Elgin Public Art Centre will be closed. This day serves as an important opportunity to honour and reflect on the sacrifices made by members of the armed forces. We encourage everyone to participate in local commemorative events and take a moment to remember those who have served. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to welcoming you back to the Centre after this day of remembrance.
FREE ADMISSION Tuesday -Thursday 10am-4pm Friday 10am-8pm Saturday 12-4pm

In secondary school? Need your volunteer hours? Join us at the Art Centre! Our youth volunteers assist with our Children’s Programming which take place on weekends, PA Days, March break and during the Summer.
The image of the volunteer has changed over time. Now volunteers come from all walks of life. Our volunteers range from students participating in free public programming, retired teachers (greeters for special events and reception), educators (researching and archiving) and artists (sharing their individual artistic techniques in workshops and classes).
Ideally, volunteers find the donation of their time and energy a meaningful experience for themselves as well as for the organization. A true win/win situation.
