Redtail Cocktail Party and Silent Auction

TBA 2020

This year the St. Thomas-Elgin Public Art Centre will be hosting our annual “Redtail Silent Auction and Cocktail Party”, on Saturday, May 25, 2019, from 4:00 to 7:30pm, in the club house of the beautiful and exclusive Redtail Golf Course. As our major signature event, the funds raised during the afternoon go to support our education programming and exhibitions throughout the year.
Every year, the Public Art Centre relies on the support of its’ members, donors, and community members to continue to realize our mission of promoting the appreciation of the visual arts through countless exhibitions of historical and contemporary artwork, bringing art education and access to thousands of children and adults in St. Thomas and Elgin County and through maintaining a quality permanent collection.
The St. Thomas - Elgin Public Art Centre's art educational programs offer in-depth encounters with visual literacy and contemporary culture and are offered free to children from JK to grade 12. They discover new ways to perceive and express their senses. They gain valuable skills in visual literacy and artistic creation and are encouraged to be curious, active, critical, creative and engaged. Many of the students participating are attending the Art Centre for the first time and discovering that art is for all of us.
