The St. Thomas-Elgin Public Art Centre is raising funds to replace its aging HVAC system.
This essential capital project will help us protect artwork, preserve our permanent collection, improve comfort for visitors and participants, and support the exhibitions, school programs, and community activities that take place in our building throughout the year.
For an art centre, climate control is not simply about heating and cooling. It is about stewardship. Stable environmental conditions help protect sensitive works of art, support professional exhibition standards, and ensure that our building remains a safe and welcoming place for everyone who visits.
Our current HVAC system is more than twenty years old and is nearing the end of its useful life. Replacing it is a necessary investment in the future of the Art Centre.
