Enjoy the spirit of Volunteering!

Share your talents and enthusiasim by assisting with  wide range of art centre initiatives.  Volunteering can lead to work experience, reference letters, volunteer hours for school, university, and a sense of pride by helping your community.  As a not for profit organization, we could not have the success of our events, gallery, and programs without the help of our dedicated volunteers.  We would like you to join our team. 

Art Centre Opening Volunteers

Volunteers are needed to help at the Art Centre Opening Receptiions throughout the year.  Duties include helping refresh food and drinks, clearing glasses and general assisantance for the guest throughout the evening.  Openings are either Friday or Saturday evenings from 7-9pm every 6 weeks.  There is one shift from 7-9pm with clean up after the event.  Contact sterry@stepac.ca  for information.

Birthday Party Assistants

Do you enjoy working with kids in a fun-filled atmosphere?  We offer children's birthday parties on the weekends and are always looking for dynamic teens to assist our instructor withthe art activity portion of the party.  This posisiton is ongoing throughout the year.  Art projects include clay, painting, jewelry making and more...

Fundraising Events

Fundrasing Events promote the Art Centre and its programs. Volunteers join a committee to assist in the planning and organization of special events in conjuction with the Art Centre staff.  If you are interested in volunteering specifically for a fundrasing event please contact sterry@stepac.ca  The volunteers are essential in making each fundraising event successful.
