Redtail Cocktail Party and Silent Auction

h_044.jpg

With this year's achievement the proceeds of the event will support us substantially in our continuing efforts to provide and improve on our quality arts programs, education services, exhibitions and tours.  We are committed to providing educational opportunities and services free of charge to the schools within our community.

Redtail Golf Course is the exclusive venue for the St. Thomas-Elgin Public Art Centre's Annual Silent Auction Fund-Raiser on May 29, 2010 from 4:00 pm to 7:30 pm.  Tickets are available for $100.00 each.  This year the catering will be supplied by Redtail's, own Chris Squires.  An exciting selection of individual items and unique "experience" packages will be available.  Enjoy Redtail in its finest, support the programming at the Art Centre and take home something truly unique.  Call the Art Centre at 631-4040 or visit us at 301 Talbot Street, St. Thomas.

There are many ways you can help!

Donations of Goods and Services:

Every year, the Art Centre relies on the support of its' members, donors, and community members to continue to realize our mission of promoting the appreciation of the visual arts through countless exhibitions of historical and contemporary artwork, bringing art education and access to thousands of children and adults in St. Thomas and Elgin County and through maintaining a quality permanent collection.

Your support of this event enables the Art Centre to provide art education programs which provide in-depth encounters with visual literacy and contemporary culture and offer them free to children from JK to grade 12.  They discover new ways to perceive and express their senses.  They gain valuable skills in visual literacy and artistic creation and are encouraged to be curious, active, critical, creative and engaged.

It is the support of our community and businesses, such as yours, that have contributed greatly to the success of the Art Centre and its' programs.  Your business can help us achieve our objectives by providing a donation of goods and or services for the silent auction.  In recognition of your donation your business will appear in the event brochure and our quarterly newsletter as a supporter.  You will also receive a charitable tax receipt for the full value of your donation.
