The Timken Gallery is dedicated to the Art Centre's permanent collection. It is important to us to feature and rotate our collection to ensure the appreciation of this valuable collection. The St. Thomas-Elgin Public Art Centre’s Permanent Collection is one of the largest and most significant in the St. Thomas and Elgin County region, made up of approximately 1500 artworks of local, regional, national and international origin in a variety of media, with special emphasis on contemporary and historical Canadian art, - in particular Canadian - and on the artists associated with St. Thomas and Elgin County.
The Studio Gallery is a space where local artists have the opportunity to exhibit their works for the community without a long term commitment. This space is available to artists through our facility rental program. For more information please visit Facility Rentals page.
